Tiwa Savage was a recent guest on Factory 78. The MAVIN Records first lady got talking about her style of music, stage craft amongst other things.
She
also highlighted how Nigerian musicians altered their style to fit the
European market. ‘Nigerian music has so much rhythm and so much soul,
we just need to stay true to ourselves. I think sometimes when we cross
over, we just change and blend to other cultures but reggae music
doesn’t do that and we still accept it.
The talented singer is currently working on releasing her long-awaited debut ‘Tiwa O ni Baje‘ slated for later this year.
