Wizkid Joins Billionaires’ Club At 21

Sources who are privy to the young singer’s revenue told Cubaze Mykelz Blog, this week, that he has now joined the league of music billionaires.
With a schedule that keeps him busy all week; and enquiries from all over the globe, Wizkid is currently one of the top 5 most wanted pop stars (others on the list include 2face Idibia, D’banj and Psquare) . And from an engagement fee of N3m - N5m, his management has now upped his fee to a minimum of N8m.
Big budget clients could be asked for up to N10m in most cases.
‘There are some weekends when he plays up to three shows. The boy is mad busy and his minders are making the best out of the boom..
Wizkid is putting his money into use too, the 21-year-old recently acquired a VW convertible worth N6M (Six million Naira). He has also embarked on a mega tour around the UK and Texas which earned both himself  and the EME Crew some Mega Bucks. Next on the books are hooking up mad joints with international acts. Akon was first, then came Kardinal Official. Insiders rumor that a Remix with the one and only Lil Wayne for his crazie RnB Joint "TURN ON THE LIGHTS" is pushing futher.
Monthly earnings, we’re told, now sits in the realm of 70m and upwards. And it can only get better; with a MOBO plaque and Headie in his pouch, and a wicked crazy joints that’s still moving units, the EME act seems poised for a brighter future – if he and his minders are smart enough not to let celebrity trouble and scandals ruin it all…

Keri Hilson Can’t Get Enough Of Flavour’s ‘Ashawo’

Keri Hilson has been listening to Flavour’s hit song ‘Ashawo'. ’The award winning singer couldn’t hold back her excitement.

She tweeted ‘Sawa Sawa Sawale, Sawa Sawa Sawale, ASSHHHHHH!! #nowplaying “Ashawo” Remix by Flavour. love thisss sonnnnng!!!’
However, A fan was kind enough to explain to the singer what the title of the song meant in English.

No surprise Keri Hilson is getting familiar with Nigerian songs as she is set to perform in Nigerian at the ‘Face of Sofa’ pageant holding in November in Abuja.
Would be great if she accepts to do a lil' deal with Mr. Flavour>>> That would certainly be the greatest Collabo to end this year with..

Lagos Trader Claims Being 7-Month Pregnant For Funke Akindele’s Hubby, Almaroof expects 8th Child From Wives

Lagos Trader Claims Being 7-Month Pregnant For Funke Akindele’s Hubby, Almaroof expects 8th Child From Wives

A Lagos-based soft-sell magazine E247 reported that a Lagos-based trader identified as Modinat Nike Dada, who is in her 30′s, has claimed to be seven months pregnant for the husband of pretty actress, Funke Akindele, Almaroof Oloyede Kehinde popularly known as Kendo in Oshodi area of Lagos State.
According to the woman, her romantic affair with Almaroof started after she moved with her sister, who is a tenant in one of Almaroof’s shops in Oshodi.
After her first marriage to one Dayo, Modinat, a mother of two, went to her elder sister who sells cloth at Oshodi to continue with her life. It was there Modinat also called Mama Dayo reportedly met Almaroof. One thing led to the other, a romantic affair began between them.
The magazine reported that in a desperate effort to become pregnant for Almaroof before marriage, both Modinat and Almaroof visited some spiritualists to help out. So, when the already pregnant woman heard about Funke Akindele’s marriage to Almaroof in the media, she became devastated.
It was also reported that Modinat has been put under pressure to keep a sealed lip on the issue and never let it get to the press because of the dead bones it will make to wake up.
The magazine further reported that several sources from Funke Akindele have warned Modinat not to expose the story and was reportedly promised juicy offers as a reward for keeping quiet. As the magazine puts it, the woman was given a posh apartment in Agege area of Lagos where she currently stays.
As it stands, Almaroof is now expecting three babies from three women. One from Funke Akindele, who is presently pregnant; one from his second wife, Fadekemi believed to put to bed soon and Modinat expected to give him a baby probably in December 2012. These will add up to the five children Almaroof already has.

I’m not friends with Messi, says C. Ronaldo

I’m not friends with Messi, says C. Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has stated emphatically that he is not friends with Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo, 27, says he and Messi, though in the Liga, share a strictly professional relationship.
The pair have been painted as fierce rivals in recent years, with both players competing for the same club and individual honours, goal.com reports.
But, though he admits they are not close, Ronaldo is adamant there are no issues between the two of them and expressed his respect for the Barcelona man.
“He (Lionel Messi) is a great player,” Ronaldo told beIN sport. “I have a professional relationship (with him) like I have with other players.
“I’m not friends with him because we don’t share the same dressing room. I respect him like a professional. We’re not real friends, just friends through our profession. There are no issues between the two of us.
“It’s (issues being created) not just now, its been the same for the last five years. I can’t control it.”

Wande Coal To Float Own Record Label

Wande Coal To Float Own Record Label

Wande Coal’s life long dream of owning a record label is about to come true as in a few months time, he will unveil his company to be known as  “BLACK DIAMOND”. The label which is already registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission, has two artistes on its payroll with their singles set to hit the airwaves in 2013.
Aniways, lets not be scared of another industry wahala, The label, which is currently being run by Wande’s manager, has the blessings of MAVIN Records CEO, Don Jazzy. Matter of fact, it was the maverick producer who reportedly pleaded with Wande to shelve the idea when he first contemplated it two years ago. Abbey Nana, has been Wande’s dream dream since his days at Mo’Hits before moving on with Don Jazzy as an established artiste under Mavin Records.
Some might assume this move is an indication that all is not well within the newly formed MAVIN Records but on the contrary, both Don Jazzy and Wande Coal have agreed to join hands to help the latter’s new venture grow and be formidable

May D dares PSquare: Performs Chop My Money at Felabration

May D dares PSquare: Performs Chop My Money at Felabration

Like Serzly, May D may or may not know what he has done; but the tides are already heating up and soon, there may be just another messy war between him and Square Records barely two months after he was dropped by the label.

At Felabration 2012 held recently at the New Afrika Shrine, Akinmayokun May D Awodumila was one of the selected artistes to perform and indeed he performed.
May D threw caution to the wind and stormed the stage with P Square’s Do as I do which featured Tiwa Savage and himself.
He didn’t stop there as he went quickly into his award winning single Soundtrack before diving headlong into Chop my Money. May D wrapped up his act with his hit single Ile Ijo which made everybody go crazie..(especially dem chicks).

Now check this out...In the song Chop my Money Rmx, performed on this night, Sure Boi, May D didn’t stick to his lines o, rather, he took the entire songs from start to finish, yeah...you heard me, from the beginning of Akon's Verse to the end of his own verse nii...
The crowd, however, didn’t seem to notice or perhaps were not bothered as they hollered and danced away the entire time. Me and moi fwends, we sef no send...we dey rock them shordy's dey go.....   *Bad Man Tinz* hehe...

Square Records boss Jude "Engees" Okoye had in a statement issued in August this year, announced that the label was severing ties with May D due to irreconcilable differences. A month later, we brought to you the info about May D's launch of his own label Confam Entertainment.
His single Soundtrack fetched him the ‘Best R&B Single’ award at The Headies this year.

#Leqqo bruv....As a sureboi, the sky is just the begining
