Is this the 1st Plague? River Turns Blood Red In China [PHOTOS]

 

It was Bible-story time in Eastern China after a river turned blood red on Thursday morning. Residents in Zhejiang province said the river looked normal at 5 a.m. Beijing time on Thursday morning. Within an hour, the entire river turned crimson. Residents also said a strange smell wafted through the air.

 

“The really weird thing is that we have been able to catch fish because the water is normally so clear,” one local villager commented on China’s microblogging site Weibo.

Inspectors from the Wenzhou Environmental Protection Bureau said they have not found the cause of the incident, although water samples seem to indicate the suspicious color was a result of illegal dumping in the river.

You recently said you could act nudd£ in a movie?

There was a bit of mix-up in that story. They asked me what I think of nudity in movies and I said it depends on the movie. If you’ve watched The Gods Must Be Crazy, the nudity in that movie was done for accuracy because people then went about nudé.

 So, when they asked me I said it depends on the script. It depends on the director I’ll be working with because it’s all about the director’s picture, it’s the director’s story. If I know I’m working with a director who I trust, who I know will make everything tastefully done, where it won’t end up looking like some badly made pornography and it’s a good script, I’ll make my decision.

Can you do a séx scene in a movie?
Yeah. I mean in Lekki Wives I have a couple of kissing and romantic scenes, no nudity but there was a lot of kissing and lots of making out so it comes with the job.

 

What’s the craziest thing you can do in a movie?
You never know what’s going to come your way or you never know I might just see myself in Hollywood one day, you never know so I never say never. Nudity is not a big deal.

It depends. There’s a level you’ll get to in your modeling career that you just have to do things like that. The highest paid models, the ones you see on Victoria’s Secret runways, I’m sure they do stuff like that. It comes with the territory so before you go into a career like that, you have to prepare yourself.
Even though that’s not really where I’m channeling myself to, it depends on why you’re doing it and the outlet. Gisele Bundchen is like the highest paid model in the world today and I’ve seen a lot of her topless photos for Vogue and other things, she’s just doing her job.

According to onlookers,Wizkid was stopped and questioned,of which he initially tried talking his way through but after one of the soldiers stamped his palm ferociously on Wizkid’s face,it became a situation of weeping&pleading,Meanwhile,Wizkid’s entourage had run for their lives,knowing of the recent violence caused by Soldiers in the city of Lagos.

How Billionaire, Femi Otedola makes $398million[N64 Billion] in 3months - FORBES

According to Forbes Africa, billionaire businessman Femi Otedola made $398million between March 3 to June 2.


Forbes Reports:
Nigerian energy mogul Femi Otedola has become at least $398 million richer between March 3 and June 2 as shares of Forte Oil PLC, a Nigerian Stock Exchange-listed energy distributor, surged 167% in that period.

Forte Oil PLC is primarily engaged in the distribution of petroleum products such as diesel, aviation fuel and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
The company has over 500 company-owned, dealer-assisted and dealer-developed gas stations spread across the country, oil storage depots in Lagos and Rivers states, a Power plant and a Joint User Hydrant Installation facility in Lagos. The company also sells its own range of automobile lubricants.
 
On March 3, the company’s stock was trading at N88.4 ($0.55), and at the close of trading today (Monday), its share price was N235.79 ($1.46). According to Akinbamidele Akintola, Vice President, Africa equity sales at Renaissance Capital, the recent unprecedented demand and surge in Forte Oil’s shares may not be unconnected to the company’s recent inclusion in the Morgan Stanley MS +0.13% Capital International (MSCI ) Frontier Market 100 Index.
 
Listing in such indexes usually attracts interest from global investors who track these companies.
Otedola became the largest shareholder in Forte Oil (formerly called African Petroleum) in 2007 when he acquired a 28.7% stake in the company from the government-owned oil company, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for $120 million.
 
He subsequently appointed himself as chairman of the company. Otedola, 47, has gobbled up additional shares over the years and now owns more than 40% of the $1.5 billion (Market Capitalization) company. According to information available from registrar sources, he currently owns 436,809,537 shares valued at N103 billion ($635 million).
 
He pocketed at least $11 million in dividends from profits made by his company in February as Forte Oil paid shareholders a dividend of N4 ($0.0023) per ordinary share from its 2013 profits. A representative for Femi Otedola could not be reached for comment at press time.

UNILAG Closed Over N20,000 Late Registration Fine Protests

UNILAG gates have been shut down by the institution's authorities after students protested a hike in late registration fines.

 

The gates of the University of Lagos students have been shut following student protests over a directive by the institution's authorities that they pay a N20,000 fine for late registration or editing of the course registration forms.

A crowd of students had had gathered UNILAG Senate Building on Friday morning chanting aluta songs and demanding an end to the 'exploitation'.

They also accused the Vice Chancellor of UNILAG, Prof. Rahman Bello, of corruption.

From the Senate Building the chanting students marched through all the Faculties in the school and later blocked all entrances into UNILAG.

The students say their grouse with the authorities is the decision to increase the charge from N10,000 to 20,000 within a few days.

Interestingly, a student who spoke with Student Pulse on conditions of anonymity alleged that the registration portal was deliberately closed before the deadline.

He said the management did this so that the extra N20,000 charge could be demanded from defaulters.

Some of the students spoken to said many students defaulted on deadline for completion of registration because they could not afford to pay their fees.

Another students said many students found it difficult to use the online portal due to technical handicap.

Lagos state is now a boiling pot of student protests with Lagos State University Students’ Union (LASUSU) members also currently protesting a hike in their tuition fees.

Japanese Woman Divorces Husband Because Of The Movie "Frozen"

 

A Japanese woman has filed for a divorce from her husband over the Disney animation, "Frozen". [Watch trailer above]

According to Japanese website, KikonshanoHakaba, otherwise known as "Gravesite of Married People" the woman claims her husband doesn't love the movie despite the incredible production put into it.

Reports say she began having second thoughts about her marriage when her husband told her he doesn't love the film. The woman then told her hubby before filing for divorce that,

 “If you can’t understand what makes this movie great, there’s something wrong with you as a human being.”

The wife is said to be a huge fan of "Frozen" which has also become a crowd favourite and beat Toy Story 3 to become the highest grossing animation film ever. 

It's Show Business, Leave Tiwa Savage Alone!

On the wake of the negative criticism which has trailed Tiwa Savage's "Wanted" video, Peter Okoye has risen to her defence.


 

Peter Okoye is fed up with the negative criticism that seems to have flooded Tiwa Savage on the heels of her "Wanted" video and he's letting the world know it.
The one half of the P-Square duo made a series of posts where he defended her, stating that international acts like Beyonce and Nicki Minaj do not get the same backlash for doing much worse. According to him "...their husbands aren't complaining, so please let them flourish".

It would be recalled that Tiwa Savage released her "Wanted" video last Wednesday and she's received some major backlash for it since then with fans mostly describing it as overtly raunchy and distasteful.
Several celebrities including Kaffy, 2Face Idibia and husband cum manager Tee Billz have however defended her with Tee Billz referring to the video as "art". Peter Okoye is the latest celebrity to come to her defence.

The military camouflage is not meant for the entertainment industry, It is strictly meant for military personnel.
Henceforth, any civilian found GUILTY of putting on the camouflage irrespective of their social status will be dealt with severely.

Did I make a mistake by letting my boyfriend go?

I used to be in a relationship with this guy. Just after we started dating he travelled back to finish up his masters. For the first few weeks, the relationship was going smoothly.. I used to call more.(Maybe I showed too much emotions). I realized he didn't use to call so I decided to stop calling. I told him about it and he came up with news of him having to work really hard to support himself and didn't have time to keep in touch as he should. I tried to understand but I later thought a guy should no matter how busy he is find time to talk to his girlfriend... We had an argument about this and a lot of other things and I deleted him off my bbm.

 Then he started calling regularly. We sorted it all, he was readded and he continued with no calling. At times we don't chat for like 2 days den he messages on the next day to act like everything is cool. A particular day came, we had a good chat and it was all fun everyone was happy. The next day I didn't hear from him. I pinged him in the afternoon and he read and replied immediately ( which meant he wasn't busy, he had been with his phone).

 I told him I just wanted to holla nd know if he was fine.. I got really fed up and angry and spoke to him I was rude( my bad) when I'm angry I could be rude. ( Didn't insult him but dere re other ways of being rude). He was giving attitude and stuff and wasn't sorry. I cried, told my brother about it and he told me the guy is obviously having fun I should just turn the table around. Not to mention he has this girl Bestfriend who is always with him. They practically do everything together, I'm beginning to believe they are not friends like he claims sef.

I stopped calling, texting or checking up. Then he started starting a chat after like a week or 2 interval. Oh well I couldn't care less.. I was over him.. He recently accused me of being inconsiderate and rude....
In summary he was acting non interested, hot and cold and not caring and extremely forgetful ( Quite a number of things he forgot) and if was ( angry and rude, trying to make him serious)
Is he right? Am I wrong? Please help.

Rhys Williams is covered from head to toe in agonising blisters, leaving him in too much pain to even be hugged by his parents.

The brave eight-year-old, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, suffers from a severe skin condition called epidermolysis bullosa (EB).It is an excruciatingly painful condition which causes blistering and leads to open wounds.

His condition is incurable and causes his skin and internal tissue to blister at the slightest knock or rub, leaving him with painful open wounds.The agony is so severe the youngster even had to take morphine to control the pain and it takes him three hours to have a bath.
