BRITAIN'S OLDEST COUPLE TIE THE KNOT AFTER DATING FOR 20 YEARS

Candidly, 20 years is long, some decisions are so incredible. That length of time would not fit in marriages of today, if it is possible, couples would get married 3 days after they meet. Everything is really going on a super-fast lane now. But 98 year-old Ted Parsons and Jean Reed (90) didn't seem to mind.
The newlyweds who are regarded as the oldest couple in Britain tied the knot last week after dating for 20 years. Patience is really a virtue.

The groom's 63 year-old son was bestman. With a combined age of 188, they also secured a spot in the Guinness Book Of World Records. The previous record was held by a couple whose combined age is 193.
